Sapelo Island's Gullah-Geechee Heritage

Library Services at Coastal Pines Technical College presents a special lecture by Michele Nicole Johnson, the librarian at CPTC's Golden Isles Library.

Michele lived on Sapelo Island for several years, and managed the island's public library. She is the author of the book, Sapelo Island's Hog Hammock (Arcadia Publishing, 2009).

The talk will be held in the Economic Development Room 1165 at CPTC's Golden Isles Site, 3700 Glynco Parkway, in Brunswick. The event is free and open to CPTC students, faculty and staff, and guests.

Thank you to the Student Government Association for sponsoring the refreshments.
